In 2022, Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) broke ground on its Engineering and Technology Center, a state-of-the-art office and lab space that houses its engineering, research, and development facility. This new building creates an environment for their teams to manufacture and develop processes to make the stormwater management system more efficient, ecological, and innovative. Lunne was tasked with bringing the ADS brand story and the stormwater management system to life. The biggest challenge was turning their technical processes into a story that was visually interesting, clear to visitors and stakeholders alike, while highlighting their brand identity.

The company’s tagline, “Our reason is water,” was a guiding light throughout the design process.  We integrated subtle graphic elements such as raindrops and ripples into their common work areas, conference rooms, and vinyl applications, with higher impact elements in their lobby and lab spaces. Dimensional lettering, wall graphic application, 3D printing, and mural art were just a few of the design tactics used to bring the ADS waterdrop lifecycle to life.
